The CoffeeRoaster G2 Roaster Module is a slimmed down version of CoffeeRoaster which provides the Coffee 'Roaster' the ability to view (read only for some forms) the appropriate Roast data from a computer located at the Coffee Roaster.  By having access to the incoming Sales and Production data, the 'Roaster' can have up to date information to make decisions on which roasts to complete first.  The Roaster Module integtates with the Coffee Roaster data file and allows limited data entry for Green Bean Deliveries, Roast and Roast Component logging, Green Bean BINS management, and Stage 3 (Work in Progress) coffees.  Work In Progress coffees are the roasts freshly available for bagging.  The Roast Module cannot import items from QuickBooks and has limited but appropriate access to the CoffeeRoaster data file.

The Roaster Module calculates Green Bean Shrinkage for each Roast and has summary reports by individual Roast to determine shrinkage values.  The form below shows an Estimated Shrinkage, the actual finished Roast Lbs are entered into the data file so that actual shrinkages can be determined for each roast.

One important feature of the CoffeeRoaster G2 Roaster Module is the Roast Log.  The CoffeeRoaster G2 Roaster Module has the ability to log individual roasts by actual roasted component.  The Roast Module is aware of the Roast formula for a specific Roast, but if the preferred Roast components are not available the Roast Module allows the 'Roaster' to specifiy a component to substitute and deducts the appropriate Green Bean BINS.

The CoffeeRoaster G2 Roaster Module is designed to be run on a separate computer from the CoffeeRoaster Production and Management Modules.  The Roaster computer should be located near the Roaster and have a physical setup allowing Roast Log entries and logging of Green Bean Deliveries.

Windows OS
